The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut

The young golfer will have numerous prominent supporters as she starts her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"He practically advised me to compete and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

Yet she can receive tips from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.

"He is the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He advised me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, including second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai brings the sport to new audiences, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and has started her own apparel and wellness label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
