On Monday, the tribunal learned call records and information recovered from phones logged Ms Wandelt repeatedly demanding Madeleine's mother for a biological test throughout 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - at the age of three during a family holiday in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported missing child cases and is still unresolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

A separate voicemail, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm overweight and plain like Madeleine was, but I know what I know."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone said: "What if there is a slight possibility that I am Madeleine? What happens next? Is that not important for you?"

"I don't want money, I maintain a living here in Poland, I only wish to know," the recording stated.

The tribunal was informed that by means of emails, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a genetic test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a effort to display a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and asserted to have "memories" from a childhood with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who collated the evidence, told the court there "seemed to lack any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally communicated with close associates of the McCanns, based on the communication logs.

On that date, Mr McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "a wrong number."

That day Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone stating "I will persist and I will prove my point."

The court learned the co-defendant developed a connection via internet with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in Leicestershire in that winter.

Communication data showed Mrs Spragg had reached out through messaging service to Mrs McCann to say the news outlets had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she deserved to be considered genuine in the months preceding the appearance to that location, that area, in last December.

The court learned message exchanges between the two individuals, in November 2024, planning endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a dining venue.

"We must take action," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the appearance to their residence, Mrs Spragg transmitted a text which expressed: "We're currently positioned near the McCanns' house with our vehicle dark like private investigators. I wanted to accomplish this with Peter Andrew I didn't imagine I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial ongoing.
